Healing Council of Elders
This fight is pretty straight forward. Depending on how good your raid is at moving out of bad, you will possibly have to dispel Entrapped, which is a result of someone standing in Quicksand until they get 5 stacks. Otherwise, the player is rooted in place for 30 seconds (unless you want to teach them a lesson!)
There is significant movement on this fight, you will want to positions healers around the room so that you don’t have to worry about some range standing too far from healing.
You will likely want to assign tank healers as well as a healer (or two) to keep an eye on those with biting cold and frostbite.
Kazra’jin is the most intensive part of the fight, but can easily be healed through with healer CD rotation.
Notes for Heroic:
Note: Using Hand of Purity for Frostbite was hotfixed March 19th. However, Hand of Purity will still reduce damage taken by 10%, but the periodic effect for 70% damage reduction no longer works.
You will need to make extensive use of cooldowns such as ironbark and life cocoon on those that are targeted by frostbite, and pump plenty of single target heals into those players while they are affected by it.
Recommended number of healers:
25M Heroic – TBD
10M Heroic – TBD
25M Normal – 6-7 healers
10M Normal – 3 healers
